Body Shock was established in early 1997 by Paddy O Donohoe, who had spent the previous 5 years compiling medical and anatomical knowledge, as well as developing and perfecting the latest piercing techniques. Throughout these first 5 years meetings with leading and open-minded medical professionals resulted in cutting edge knowledge regarding the way the human body reacts to certain metals and chemicals. The result of this has led to today's Body Shock, a state of the art piercing facility, housing a separate sterilization room, 2 piercing rooms and separate reception areas with displays of the very best in body jewellery from all over the world. All of Body Shock's staff are trained in sterilization and cross-contamination prevention. Body Shock presently employs 2 full-time piercers with experience ranging from 3 years to 8 years, in addition to piercers Body Shock also employs 2 others, reception and management. Body Shock is fully dedicated to providing the optimal piercing experience in an extremely friendly, open and sterile environment. We feel that there are no bad questions and are willing to do anything to encourage a positive experience. In addition to this we stay up to date on the ever changing world of sterilization and piercing techniques. We also stock a full range of aftercare products and our jewellery includes a selection of 316L surgical stainless steel, niobium, titanium and acrylic designed and made specifically for body piercing, traditional wood, bronze and brass tribal jewellery are also available.
