Rafael Valdez

Rafael Valdez was born in Guadalajara (Jalisco, Mexico) and migrated to the US with his parents at the age of nine. Not knowing the English language made it hard for him to communicate in school, so he would put most of his focus on paper, expressing himself through art. After developing his artistic talent throughout his childhood, he turned his hobby as a pencil artist into a full-time career as a tattoo artist. Over the years, Rafael has been able to take his skill across many states in the US, establishing a nation wide cliental whose expectations he continually exceeds. He has also been fortunate enough to catch the attention of a very high end and prestigious clientele, including international superstars.

Rafael has been formally recognized for his hard work and talent, and in 2013, TV Azteca did a segment on him being an inspiration to the Latin community as an immigrant who overcame adversity and rose to success despite it. He then went on to be covered by Univision on "Primer Impacto," Hollywood Life TV, "TMZ" and various radio stations across the U.S. and South America.

Rafael is an artist who strives to go beyond each of his clients' expectations, and he hopes to continue to inspire others throughout his ever growing career as a successful artist.
